Life Story Episode one: The beginning. Like many other teenagers, Sobri have always wanted to make it to a top school and have a bright future ahead. Unfortunately for him, he never even had the chance to complete his primary school leaving examinations. He was the only son from a poor family. Every morning, even before the sun rises, aminah, sobri's mother, would wake up and prepare nasi lemak for sobri to sell. Sobri's job was to sell nasi lemak and other goodies which were prepared by his mother everyday after school, leaving his school work untouched and unfinished. As time goes by, Sobri came to realise that he'd rather give up school just to support his family. He was such a caring brother who sacrificed his own future just for the sake of his younger sisters, rabiah and sarimah. He didnt care what was going to happen to his future but he just hoped that his sisters will remember his thoughtful acts. There he was. The dazzling ray of light slanted in through the trees. Pearls of sweat rolled down his face which was scarred with acne. Sobri has spent almost half the day searching for a job. He has been struggling with the debts and bills which floods the mailbox everyday. Ever since his mother got a stroke, sobri stoped selling nasi lemak. Sobri was strong and he never gave up in any situation. To make it more worse, his father passed away and now, sobri was in charge of the family's well beings. Soon, sobri got offered a job to work in a bank. He was hardworking and he showed his boss that he was willing to put in his heart and soul to earn a living. Sobri was determined to give his sisiters and his mother a good life. Indeed, a good life they had. Sobri met the love of his life, maria, who was a clerk. They got married soon, after getting approval from both parties. However, there's this side of Sobri that no one else knows. Only god knows.
