Life Story Episode 2: His family or theirs? It has always been Sobri's dream to raise his very own child. Maria was a very patient wife. She was a very caring and loving wife. However, after 3 years living alone as a couple, Sobri felt the emptiness of their marriage. He was getting bored with Maria's lovee. Soon, he was out on the wild streets. He was eager to find love out there, in the cold, harsh world. Without even caring about Maria's feelings, Sobri found a new girlfriend, Ju. Juminah was a single 26 year old lady who looked physically seductive. She toyed with Sobri and made Sobri somehow forget that he was a married man. Maria went to bed early and woke up with puffy, swollen eyes. She was very disappointed with what Sobri have done after all this while. She blamed no one except for herself. She felt bad that she couldnt conceive and give Sobri a child. To make matters worse, Sobri got himself into gambling and horse racing. Acts which were against his religion. He often waste his money on buying 4D numbers. From gambling, he went further to investing money. Promising maria that by investing, he will get rich faster and they'll have a better life. Aminah who have stayed together with the couple since they got married got nothing to say about her own son. She was scared to scold or give advise to Sobri as he always had mood swings. After 8 long years of struggling with their marriage, Maria finally got pregnant. This caused a drastic change to Sobri's character. He was more caring and he would spend more time at home. Juminah was out of his life ever since Maria got pregnant. Nine months after, a beautiful little baby was born. They decided to name her suzie. 3 years after the birth of suzie, Maria was pregnant with her second child. Maria loved and cherish both suzie and razif. They were her pillar of strenght when Sobri were high on his tantrums. No other matter was more important to her than her two lovely children. She'll try to spend time on suzie and razif whenever she can. Sobri on the other hand was an irresponsible father. All he does was go to work and come home to sleep. He treats his house just like a hotel. Suzie and Razif felt sorry for her mother. Their school pocket money was solely given by Maria. Sobri never ever gave them a single cent for their school pocket money. Maria always have to cope with money matters. Suzie was a thrifty girl, unlike Razif who can finish all his money on unnecessary things. Suzie would eat at home and try not to spend money on food in school. She was lucky to have an understanding best friend, ramona. Suzie cries everyday when she thinks of her father. "when is he going to change?".
